Privacy policy

1. Controller

The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is Pirmin Loetscher, Sonnweid 7, CH-6280 Hochdorf, Switzerland, info@314oneer.ch. This policy is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). If the GDPR applies to you, the same information serves for its purposes.

2. What data we process and why

Visiting the website (server logs). Our hosting provider’s web server automatically records technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system. We use it to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix faults. Log files are kept only for a limited time by the provider.

Quote request form. If you send a quote request, we process the data you enter: name, email address, phone number (optional), area of interest, related bike (optional), budget (optional) and your message, plus the site language. We use it only to answer your request and prepare a quote. The request is stored in our website’s administration area and sent to us by email. To limit abuse of the form, your IP address is used temporarily to count submissions.

Email. If you write to info@314oneer.ch, we process your address and the content of your message to answer you.

Customer portal. If we set up an account for you on invitation, we process your name, email address, login data, appointments, the status of your projects, details about your bikes including service history, progress photos, and documents (for example invoices, quotes, shipment confirmations) to provide the portal. Only you and we have access to them. When you book an appointment we send confirmations by email. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, unless a legal retention duty applies (for example for invoices).

Orders (Team Kit). If you order from the Team Kit, we process your name, email address, delivery address, phone number (optional), the items you ordered and your note in order to handle the order, deliver it and invoice you. For delivery and payment we pass on only the details required to the service providers involved (for example the postal service or the bank). For online payment (TWINT, card) the payment provider Stripe processes the payment data directly; we do not receive card data. We keep order and invoice data for as long as statutory retention duties require.

Customer stories. If you write a story as a customer, we store your text, your photos and the nickname you choose. Only after your consent (sending it) and our review are the story, photos and nickname shown publicly on the website, in the language you wrote it in. We do not show your name. You can change or delete the story at any time in the customer portal. Please only show people in photos who agree to it.

Cookies. This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. WordPress may set technical cookies where needed for its operation (for example for logged-in staff and customers in the customer portal). These do not identify visitors.

We do not use analytics tools, social media plugins, embedded maps or videos, or external font services.

3. Legal basis

Your consent (the checkbox on the form), the need to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and securing the website.

4. Recipients and hosting

The website and email are hosted by Hosttech GmbH, Switzerland, which processes data on our behalf. We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for their own purposes, except where required by law.

5. Storage period

Quote requests and related emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting project, and as required by statutory retention duties. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, unless a legal duty requires us to keep it.

6. Your rights

You can request information about your data, correction, deletion, restriction, and handing over of your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@314oneer.ch. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch.

7. Security

We use technical and organisational measures (such as encrypted HTTPS connections) to protect your data. No transmission over the internet can be completely secure.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is the one published on this page.
